More than 220 residents responded to the Chappaquiddick Island Association ferry survey. The results show residents are generally satisfied with current ferry service, but have significant concerns about Select Board oversight and the public availability of ferry data.

Key findings include:

• 59% of respondents are satisfied or very satisfied with the current level of ferry service, compared to 21% dissatisfied (a 3:1 margin).

• 53% believe the Select Board is giving the recommendations of the Chappy Ferry Steering Committee not enough attention, compared to 9% who believe the Board is giving the right level of attention (a 5:1 margin).

• 53% are dissatisfied with Select Board oversight of ferry operations, compared to 14% satisfied (a 4:1 margin).

• 60% are dissatisfied with the public availability of ferry data, compared to 10% satisfied (a 4:1 margin)
