As many of you know, a request to transfer the license to operate the Chappy Ferry to new owners is currently pending before the Edgartown Select Board, with a public hearing scheduled for Monday, May 11, 2026 at 4:00 PM.
On Tuesday, May 5, the Chappy Ferry Steering Committee met and voted on several items related to the ferry license and future operations. Those topics are reflected in this second CIA community survey, and the CFSC is expected to present its recommendations to the Select Board at Monday’s hearing.
The CIA Board is asking members of the Chappy community to participate in this survey so we can provide meaningful collective community input to the Edgartown Select Board.
